Our monthly celebration of our PRIDE for Patterson. Students, staff, and volunteer of the month. Student Pride Pass winners. Our monthly bike winner, and so much more!
Adults and families of students are welcome to attend. You must check-in at the office before heading out to Pride Day.
A note from the school:
Students come to school in costume, no excessive blood and gore or weapons, please remind your children we have Kindergarten and Pre-school on campus. Save the really scary stuff for Sunday. Any props or elaborate costumes, will be left in classroom during PRIDE Day.
7:45-8:10- Students report to class. Family members attending PRIDE Day must check in at office. Last time, you were able to walk right on campus. This time, with the probability of many staying after PRIDE Day, you must check in and receive a visitors badge/sticker. Students still must enter campus from the back. Drop kids off, then proceed to check in at office.
8:15-8:20 - PRIDE Day starts
9:15-9:20 - PRIDE Day ends and classes return to classroom.
9:30 - Halloween parade begins
Look for correspondence from your child's teachers as to how they will be conducting classroom parties. If you are not given permission to attend the Halloween party or the party is later in the day, please exit after the parade. All visitors must exit through the front office.
We will start the parade as close to 930am as possible. If you are only attending the parade, we will allow you to enter campus no earlier than 915am.
Also, parents attending PRIDE Day will be excused at 915 to find a spot for the parade. The parade, as it has in most years, will take place in the courtyards and through campus. We will attempt to utilize the basketball courts for more opportunities for seating/standing. A parade map will be posted prior. It should be a fun day!
Please speak to your students about the school dress code and our expectation of kid-appropriate costumes. We are of the mind, students should be able to dress up however they wish. However, we still have parameters for school.
Let's leave the dress up to the kids. Parents, unless participating in the Kindergarten Haunted House, will not be permitted on campus if they are in costume. We must know who everyone is on campus and be able to recognize all parties. I appreciate your support.
